These disclosures apply to everything in the Origami portfolio tracker — tables, charts, statistics, alerts, and the Ask Origami assistant. They are part of our Terms of Service. Please read them before relying on anything the Service shows you.

1. Not investment advice

Origami is a record-keeping and analysis tool. Nothing in the Service — including calculated metrics, charts, screeners, idea lists, or responses from the Ask Origami assistant — is investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security. Content is provided for informational purposes only. Investment decisions are yours alone; consider consulting a licensed financial adviser before acting.

2. Not a broker-dealer or investment adviser

3. Market data accuracy

Prices, quotes, dividends, and other market data come from third-party sources and may be delayed, estimated, incomplete, or wrong. Data shown is not real-time trading data. Derived figures — cost basis, profit and loss, yield, annualized return (IRR), income projections — are estimates whose accuracy depends on the completeness of the data imported from your brokerage or files. Always verify against your brokerage's official statements before making decisions.

4. AI-generated content

Ask Origami responses are generated by an AI language model. They can be incomplete, outdated, or simply incorrect, including when describing your own portfolio. Treat them as a starting point for your own verification, never as advice.

5. No performance guarantee

Past performance shown in the Service does not predict future results. Investing involves risk, including the possible loss of principal.

6. Not tax advice

Figures in the Service (realized gains, income totals, cost basis) are informational and may not match the official tax documents your brokerage issues. They are not tax advice; consult a tax professional and rely on official forms (such as 1099s) when filing.

7. Third parties

Brokerage, fund, and company names and logos appearing in the Service belong to their owners and are used only to identify your holdings and connections. No affiliation with or endorsement by them is implied. Services we integrate (Plaid, Stripe, Google) operate under their own terms.
